The 85 is my current project, and the best bike I've owned. Here's what
is
has so far:
new renthal "ATV race" bend bars
new FMF silencer
new Paul Turner Hi-rev pipe
new Pro-X piston
Shaved head and honed .10 over barrel (by Duncan racing)
completely rebuilt shocks with stiffer springs
new factory rear, and radiator plastics with the stickers
Planning on a bunch more upgrades including the desert tank, and desert
lights. (have a hi-flite desert seat)
PRM skid plate and rear desert grab bar.
currently have 350X headlights, I just don't run them.
Also the 500.00 dollars in new plastics plus I'm still getting a new
front
fender, and headlight I'm not going to run on an everyday basis. I have
cheap Maier plastics so when I ride.
The 200X is completely stock, except for the six-pak rack in the
rear, and
only needs a seat cover. It starts first kick, and I believe it has
never
been rebuilt.
Bought the 81 250R, and the 85 200X for 1000.00 dollars, and it
included a
corvair dune buggy, and trailer. I bought the 85 250R off of my
brother for
900.00and have about another 1200.00 into it plus more on the way.
The 81 is completely stock except for the seat cover. I have the
original
wheels in my shed. It is currently sitting on blocks awaitng a
complete
rebuild. It still runs though, just no one rides it.
